Basil Bread

Made this today. It's the easiest recipe... I consumed this with 40 spice hummus, feta cheese, and a little extra dried basil from my herb garden on top! YUM!
  • 1 1/2 c warm water
  • 1tbsp sugar
  • 1tbsp yeast
  • 1tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • seasonings of your choice (I used pink salt, black pepper, fresh chopped basil and oregano, and a tsp of chicken bouillon)
  1. Mix water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes for yeast to activate.
  2. Mix in flour, salt, and seasonings until well mixed.
  3. Grease pan with olive oil. (I had some infused with basil on hand)
  4. Flour the pan to prevent sticking.
  5. Place dough in pan, form to fit.
  6. Brush with olive oil on the top.
  7. Place in oven while it's preheating to 400.
  8. Once preheated, cook for 15-17 minutes.
