The hand that writes, the hand that writes it off...
It's another gray day here in Maine with the potential for thunderstorms and lightning. I love this weather. It's the perfect opportunity for me to try to write some lyrics. My husband, brother, and I are working on creating a new music project in our off time. There is so much potential within the three of us, we always have a rough start trying to find the time.. so, while Levon sleeps I try to find my inspiration in the humming of the fans going, in the beauty of our humble abode. I wrote some lyrics a couple of days ago and recorded a simple melody to play back to my husband. I sent it to him while he was at work and he told me it sounded like a mix between Emiliana Torrini and Bruce Hornsby. So, that's always a good sign. I can't wait for this to progress into more than the first stages of a project...

A long time coming.
I am trying to get back into the swing of things! Levon is now 9 months old and keeps me very busy!
